PREMIERflow, a World Wide provider of Package Pumping Systems based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, announces the addition of two Qualified Personal to head up the design of the many complex systems that PREMIERflow creates and builds for clients across the country and world-wide.

Coming on board as Engineering Design Manager, Erik Kurek brings years of experience not only in this specialized industry, but also as one of the nation’s most knowledgeable engineers using the 3-D modeling software, Inventor, one of the Autodesk family of design tools. A graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Erik has been designing various systems with Inventor for the past 21 years, has written and produced numerous user manuals and videos, and was invited to serve on the Autodesk board to develop the Inventor Certification Exam.

For the past nine years, Erik has designed water-moving systems for such various installations as the boiler system for the Woodford Distilleries in Kentucky, booster station for Texas A&M Kyle Field expansion, chiller/HVAC plants for a high school in Mississippi and a paper mill in Louisiana, as well as numerous high spec municipal and industrial projects.

At PREMIERflow, Erik will be responsible for moving projects from the design phase to the shop floor. He will be creating and maintaining a common library of components for engineering systems, creating and maintaining engineering standards and practices, and all mechanical engineering related documentation.

Since 1990, Danny Clark, Senior Mechanical Designer, has specialized in the plumbing, fire, and HVAC industries, designing and integrating AUTOCAD with ProPipe/ProSteel software to create standard and custom packaged pump system drawings for all facets of these systems. One of his major projects early in his career was designing all the plumbing, fire, and HVAC systems in the new MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. He later expanded his expertise to include chiller plants. Among his international design projects are the AMES Research Center at NASA, DDC fire loops for the Ford Motor Company both in the US and Mexico, a triplex fire pump system for Hawaiian Airlines, chiller plants for Rock Tenn Paper Mill in Louisiana and the Imation Corp. Other clients have included AES Alamitos Energy, LLC, AES Huntington Beach Energy Project, Moxie Freedom Power Project, and Duke Energy. At PREMIERflow, Danny will serve as the senior designer, bringing his years of fire pump experience to the company’s projects.
